Def injection systems are designed to save money, minimize worker fatigue, and increase productivity. However, improper management of these systems can lead to devastating results. For every well that is operated with a new injection control system, potentially thousands of dollars could be lost due to equipment downtime and accidents. Injection problems can affect workers for days or even weeks, impacting their ability to work. Because of these serious safety and environmental issues, injection should only be done as a last resort.
