There are two common types of screw barrels. T-nuts are threaded internally with one thread per tooth and externally with another. These nuts are inserted into the screw bore of the machine and they are screwed up and down until they reach their maximum potential height. They are then removed and the screw exit the bore. This type of screw barrel is usually a little smaller than those used in most other types of machinery, but they can still handle high production runs.

The other type of screw barrel is a T-nut, which has a single threaded screw. When you install this type of screw barrel, you need to ensure that the threads are aligned and that the screw holes are drilled completely through the material. As with the screw with internal T-nuts, once this screw is installed inside the mould, it is screwed up and down until the entire shaft is properly seated inside the mould. This type of screw barrel is typically smaller than the screw barrel used for machine screws, but it can handle more materials.

A screw can be either a T-nut or a T-bar. If the screw is a T-nut, it will have a tapered head that will penetrate deeply into the material when the screw is screwed up and down into the mould. The tapered head should be able to withstand a lot of force before the material slips out of the mould, and it will need to have threads on the top to thread the other screws into the mould. This type of screw barrel is used very often in machine screws, because it has threads on the top to thread the screws into the mould.
